ACOG publishes 2021 Annual report
Despite another challenging year for the aviation industry, ACOG is pleased to report a number of key successes for the airspace change programme in 2021.
The report outlines progress in a number of key areas over the last year. This includes
- The successful remobilisation of the Programme following the provision of Government funding, enabling it to be brought back on track after the COVID-enforced hiatus
- The development of Iteration 2 of the Masterplan, which was formally accepted by the Co-Sponsors (DfT and CAA) and incorporated into the statutory framework for airspace change decision making in January 2022.
- Working closely with airports to define the nature of interdependencies between airspace change proposals and examine potential solutions.
- Continuing our engagement with stakeholders across industry, communities and central government.
The report also looks ahead to 2022 and ACOG’s ambitions to deliver the next iteration of the Airspace Masterplan.
