ACOG welcomes the passing into law of the Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Bill.
Airspace modernisation, a vital programme to upgrade the UK’s airspace infrastructure, will deliver quicker, quieter, and cleaner journeys for passengers, communities and businesses alike.
With simpler, more direct routes, we can drive greater efficiency, support the aviation industry in achieving its ‘jet zero’ goals and build the post-Brexit trading infrastructure needed for a more Global Britain.
Following the recent funding provided by Government for the airspace change programme we will be embarking on the next stage of this critical upgrade, working with a range of industry, community and business stakeholders to deliver a modernisation programme that is fit for the whole of the UK
